• UAHS, Hastings & Jones are designated as National Service-Learning Leader Schools
• Service-Learning is valued as a best practice for educators as evidenced by its role in the district's Stategic Plan
• In 2008, 61 students did over 10,000 hours of community service and received the President's Volunteer Service Award
• Community Service is required for all middle school & high school students
